Welcome to grizzlypig.com

Thanks for stopping by...

At this moment, grizzlypig (gp) is getting a new and, hopefully, more permanent format with a larger focus on the content.  We're hoping to include not only our own music and video (including lots of practice runs) but also links to the world wide web (our fave music, videos, news and more).

This will also be the first attempt to create separate areas for a more personal experience.  We don't want anyone seeing or listening to anything they don't want to. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you register to the site.  In this way, we can assign suitable access levels to each user.  Keep in mind that there is nothing on the entire site that might be considered anything but art (or at least an artistic allowance depending on your views). Of course, if you're a hacker, then I really hope you see, hear or feel something that offends you.

Have a day!

Much!

GP MUSIC

The name grizzlypig was just a moniker James picked out a looooong time ago.

We've stuck with it for years, though other projects have been done under different names. The remix projects felt more fun with a new "DJ" like name; so DJ ONE and Rikter were born and in some instances, The Bionic Symphony (TBS) surfaced. In fact, many of the songs on the second album (Kings&Pawns) were reworkings of some of The Bionic Symphony's earlier endeavors.

Since we both enjoy(ed) the dj aspect of music, we have several tunes that are now commonly called a mash-up.   The majority of the remixes were done by James as DJ One and TBS; but I managed to throw a few songs together myself in a collection originally called remix 96.   yup, that was 15 years ago.

In any case, we hope you enjoy listening to some of our stuff.   Let us know if you'd like to add vocals to any of the original tracks.   We don't consider ourselves too much the songbird; so if you're inspired by the instrumentals, we'd be happy to work you in.

Our first publicly available album was Concerto for Binary in Analog.

We got another one out in 2010 called Kings & Pawns.

GP VIDEO

We've always been interested in multimedia - everything from graphic stills to trippy video compilations, intricate soundscapes and audible experiments, and others, and others, etc.

Here, in many cases, the video is borrowed and set to our own music or in other cases, our own video is set to other music and still in other cases, it's all ours or all not.   This is just a small snapshot of some practice runs i've done throughout the years.  I hope to have it organized to some degree in the near future.
